The Carl Zeiss Planar T* 50mm f1.4 C/Y is a legendary, standard, fast 50mm, prime lens for the Contax/Yashica mount. It was introduced in the mid 70ies and was produced in Japan.
This is a very well built lens with very good performance. Unlike most other 50mm lenses, this one has Ninja-star shaped bokeh circles stopped down, because of it`s special positioned aperture blades.
This lens feels absolutely great. Perfect smooth long focus and very satisfying aperture clicks.
